Ranbir rejects Karan Johar-SRK movie

MUMBAI: Ranbir Kapoor is one of the hottest and much in-demand heroes in Bollywood these days. With his charming personality he also has managed to create a favourable fan following. Industry observers claim that with his recent hits like ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, ‘Wake up Sid’ and the upcoming ‘Rajneeti’, he is sure to become a force to reckon with in Hindi films.

At this stage in his career on his way to stardom, Ranbir does not want to take any chances and has therefore rejected a film with Bollywood's No 1 hero, Shahrukh Khan.

Filmmaker Karan Johar approached Ranbir with three scripts under Dharma Productions. One of these scripts was supposed to be with SRK.

The script seemed to be really interesting but Ranbir was not that keen to do a film with SRK at this stage of his career. Despite being comfortable working with an ensemble cast in ‘Rajneeti’, Ranbir feels that it is not the right time to do a film with SRK who is leaps ahead in terms of popularity.

There also is the possibility that SRK would grab all the attention and Ranbir might get isolated.

That means the audience will have to wait a while more to see to see this charming duo together on the screen.
